Taking this course was difficult for me because I had just finished up\u00a0Survey of English Literature from the Romantic Period to the Present<\/em> which was in all ways a superior class. Frustration ensued when UC Berkeley changed its English requirements halfway through the summer, which effectively meant that I did not need it.\u00a0 This was particularly irritating since it cut into my summer projects significantly.<\/p>\n That said, I am pleased with the essays that I wrote. I didn’t have any other classes to distract me from my work so they were more focused as a result.
