I have come curiously close to the end
\nDown beneath my self-indulgent and pitiful hole, I am defeated
\nI concede and move closer
\nI may find comfort here
\nI may find peace within the emptiness
\nHow pitiful<\/p>\n

This is killing me<\/p>\n

Then in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping, the moon tells me a secret—my confidant
\n“As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own: a million light-reflections pass over me”<\/p>\n

Revealed, the source is bright and endless
\nShe resuscitates the hopeless
\nWithout her we are lifeless satellites, drifting<\/p>\n

So as I pull my head out, I am without doubt
\nI do not want to be down here soothing my narcissism
\nI must crucify the ego before it is too late
\nI pray the light lifts me out before I pine away<\/p>\n

Crucify the ego before it is too late
\nLeave behind the place that is negative, blind and cynical
\nThen you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that is imagined and conceivable<\/p>\n

Let the light touch you
\nLet the words spill through
\nLet them pass right through
\nBringing out Our hope and reason<\/p>\n
