ENGL1B — Literature and Composition
Taking this course was difficult for me because I had just finished up Survey of English Literature from the Romantic Period to the Present which was in all ways a superior class. Frustration ensued when UC Berkeley changed its English requirements halfway through the summer, which effectively meant that I did not need it. This was particularly irritating since it cut into my summer projects significantly.
That said, I am pleased with the essays that I wrote. I didn’t have any other classes to distract me from my work so they were more focused as a result. Something unique was the process by which I wrote every essay: each was started and completed in an unbroken session in a single day.
Another interesting tidbit: I didn’t miss a single point on any of my assignments throughout the entire course.
